Blackout Poetry-8th Grade

Begin here: 8th grade has been working on Blackout poetry this week. Our 26 creative minds take us many different, unique places. Blackout poetry is basically taking words from somebody else’s poem, and creatively making it their own by blacking out or designing or drawing the background words that they are not using in their poem. This form of poetry can either help the students express themselves and let their thoughts go, or just to have fun and take their mind other places. These pictures are just some examples of the classes amazing creative work.
